I didn't do a great job at getting my post out there last month (shame on me!), so this month it's going on blast, ha!
I joined a blog circle with a bunch of lovely folks from a photography group I'm in. All of them are incredible talents, so make sure you click on the link below to check out the next person in the circle. There's a few, but hey... You have a whole month until my next post to read them. And trust me, it's worth your time.
We've started out with a color theme, and this month's theme is gold. Annnnnnd let's be honest... I HATE the color gold. I have NO idea why. So needless to say, I won't be taking this month's theme literally. In my quest to avoid the color, I thought about what the it represented. The more I thought about it, the more I kept settling on the word riches.
We're going to get a little personal now. I've been complaining A LOT lately... Most of it only to myself, or the hubs, or a few friends that have a high tolerance for my "woe-is-me" fests. It's time to shift the focus. While I think everyone has pieces they would change about their life, I realized the other day that I wouldn't change the big pieces for the world. I have a killer family, a few amazing BFF's, a career I can grow and succeed in... I'm really not sure you need more than that. Would I LOVE to kick my house to the curb and find something with a kitchen I'd never leave? Sure. But it's not in the cards right now.
So right now? I'm going to focus on the riches I DO have... This is my gold.
To continue on with the circle, take a stroll on over to Sharleen Stuart Photography and check out her take on this month's theme, I've seen it and you're in for a treat!
The Artists Inspired Blog Circle is made up of an exceptionally talented group of photographers from all walks of life, from all over the world. They are wives, mothers, friends, daughters and visual storytellers who draw from their own experiences to create art that is inspiring, unique, beautiful and thought-provoking.
I hope you enjoyed my loose take on this month's theme!
