Folks, I am both honored and humbled. Why you ask? I've been selected by Beauty Revived to be a part of their 50 Beautiful Mothers Campaign. Before I talk about that, I want to tell you a little about Beauty Revived and what they stand for. I've admired this group for awhile and to now be a part of it is amazing. Beauty Revived is a community that encourages photographers to get out and do what we do best... Take pictures. However, they encourage us to tell the stories of women who are out doing good in their communities, have struggled and persevered, or any other amazing feat and give back to them. All Beauty Revived sessions are done at no cost to the recipient. We as photographers, want to showcase these women and show the world their beauty... Both inside and out. It's an admirable venture for sure, and Beauty Revived is doing a spectacular job.
Now, here's where I need your help. I've been chosen as Washington State's photographer for the 50 Most Beautiful Mothers Campaign. I have to find a deserving mother (and let's be honest, most of them are!) and gift her a session. Then in May, a print and online magazine comes out with all 50 of the Mother's stories. This magazine is nationally distributed and unbelievably inspiring. I can't WAIT to read the other stories!
A few more details. Submissions are open right now, and will be open until 1/27/2017. The session must occur sometime from February to mid-March and the mother must be local to the Puget Sound area.
You can submit your nominations HERE. I'm looking forward to reading all of the stories!
Again, I can't tell you all how honored and amazed and all of those kind of adjectives that I was selected to do this. Please share this with everyone you know... Not only to find me an awesome mom, but to get Beauty Revived's message out there. They're an incredible organization, and deserve to have their mission shouted from the rooftops.
Now go find me an amazing mother!!
Hugs and fist bumps,
